Innovative Vending Machines

I have always had a curiosity for the vending machine business. My brother and father invested in vending machines when I was a child and It has peaked my interest ever since. When they started their vending machine business they started with these excellent Wowie Zowie interactive gum ball machines that are targeted at young children These machines when placed right can be quite the cash cow. He placed the machines in pizza shops, our local Laser Dome and a few more establishments. Profits from individual machines are relatively small but the combined income from 25 or so machines can bring in a substantial amount of extra income. My brother ran the business successfully for 4 years and then sold his machines in favor of his new Real estate business. Over all he did quite well for himself bringing in around 23,000 dollars a year and he has been thinking about going back into the business ever since he sold them. I was quite young when he started this business but it had sparked interest in me as a child and it still does now into my early adulthood. I have been following a couple new innovative vending machines which I believe can do substantially better then his initial choice of gum ball machines. Below are two of the new vending machines I have been following.

1. The Fresh Grilled Fully Automated Hot Dog Vending Machine
This beauty of a machine uses an infrared oven to take a hot dog from frozen to piping hot in 34 seconds, placing it on a warmed bun and dispenses ketchup and mustard to your liking onto your hot dog. These machines are currently operated by Kosher Vending Industries and can be found at such locations as the famous Coney Island in New York City. These machines were introduced as a way to provide Kosher Hot dogs for the Jewish demographic, providing kosher food in areas where they might not be readily available.
I've been watching this machine with great interest and I am waiting for these machines to be available for sale to your average vendor. The possibilities of this machine are seemingly endless and I believe that they could become one of the next greatest staples in the vending machine industry. Imagine these machines placed in your favorite bars, student dormitories, office buildings where you could order a fresh piping hot dog at anytime of the day and all in 34 seconds!

2. Let's Pizza!

I don't even know where to start with amazing marvel of a machine. The Let's Pizza vending machines is a fully automated pizzeria in a handsomely designed encasing. This isn't your average crappy frozen pizza vending machine. This baby whips up flour and water to create fresh dough, pours on fresh tomato sauce and slices fresh mozzarella and a variety of toppings and cooks the 12 inch pizza all within about 3 minutes and for around 5 dollars depending on the variety. You can select from a variety of 4 different pizzas, Margherita (plain cheese and tomato sauce), bacon, ham or fresh greens. It was created by Claudio Torghele an Italian entrepreneur and pizza connoisseur and it is truly the first of it's kind. They were tested in Italy with great success and will set you back about 32,000 dollars but with the high profit margins involved with automated pizza making, you'll be raking in the cash in no time!

These new and innovative vending machines show great promise. In a time where speed, convenience, cost and quality are valued above all in the food industry these machines are the way of the future. I will keep you all updated on the progress of these machines and on all new and innovative vending machines to come!

Young & Determined

This is my first post and my first blog so I would like to tell you all a little bit about myself. My name is Thomas Alexander and I am a 20 year old male. I am a full-time student at West Virginia University and I also work two part time jobs as a cook and a clothing store associate. I consider myself as being bright, creative, and motivated. I have had big aspirations since I was a kid and I continue to think BIG! I am a very friendly person and I love listening to and helping people. In the near future I intend to start an innovative, cheap and effective online advertising company and I intend to document my process, my success and failures! I am looking for advice as well as to give any advice that I can so that you all can learn from my failures and from my successes :). I am currently researching the advertising business and I will start writing my own articles, stories of my attempts as well as any funny debacles that occur! :)

 Cheers!
